Bethlehem

26 February 2016: Father Chrysostom Michael O’Connell was born in 1921 in County Kilkenny, Ireland. He entered Mount Melleray in 1944 and was sent to O.L. of Bethlehem shortly after its foundation in 1948. He made his solemn profession in 1949 and was ordained a priest in 1951. He was 94 years old, had been in monastic vows for 69 years and a priest for 65 years when the Lord called him.
