Butende
July 1, 2016 7:11 pmJune 30, 2016: Sister Léonie Otten was born in 1931 in Brunssum (The Netherlands). She entered the Congregation of the Little Sisters of St.Joseph and transferred to the Cistercian Order at Berkel in 1964. She was sent to Butende in 1967 and she made her solemn profession there in 1969. Sister was 85 years old and had been in monastic vows for 47 years when the Lord called her.
