Arévalo

April 12, 2018: Mother Pilar Castro Prieto was born in 1923 in Reliegos (Spain). She entered San Quirce of Valladolid of the Congregation of las Huelgas in 1943 and made her solemn profession in 1946. Entered Arévalo in 1948 and changed stability in 1949.
Mother Pilar was abbess of Arévalo from 1960 to 1991. She was 94 years old and had been in monastic vows for 75 years when the Lord called her.
