Vina – Dedication of the church

On July 2nd, the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the Abbey, the Most Rev. Jaime Soto, Bishop of Sacramento, joined the monastic community and invited guests to preside at the official dedication and consecration of the new church and altar.
A new life for the medieval stones of the 12th century Spanish Chapterhouse at the Cistercian monastery of Santa Maria de Oliva, Spain, which are now supporting the prayers of the Monks of the Abbey Church of Our Lady of New Clairvaux, Vina, California, USA. Deo Gratias!
