Bethlehem

October 17, 2018: Brother Columba O’Neill was born in 1937 in Glerone, Co. Derry (Ireland). Growing up he could easily see Portglenone House, the future O L of Bethlehem Abbey, less than a mile across the fields from his family home. He entered Bethlehem in 1959 and made his solemn profession in 1965. Brother was 81 years old and had been in monastic vows for 56 years when the Lord called him.
