Acey

Dom Jean-Marc Thévenet, Abbot of O. L. of Acey (diocese of Saint-Claude, France) since 2003, having reached the age of retirement mentioned in ST 40.A of the Constitutions, presented his resignation to the Abbot General. With the consent of his Council, the Abbot General accepted the resignation which became effective on January 3, 2020.

On January 24, 2020, Dom Georges Delomier, Superior ad nutum of Aiguebelle (France) and Father Immediate of Acey, appointed Father Godefroy Raguenet de Saint Albin as Superior ad nutum of Acey.

Dom Godefroy was born in 1970 in Versailles (France). He entered Aiguebelle in 2001, made his solemn profession in 2007 and was ordained a priest in 2011. At the time of his appointment he was finishing a sabbatical year with the Cistercians in Hauterive (Switzerland) after having served three years as chaplain to our sisters in Fons Pacis (Syria).
