Imari

The abbot emeritus of Phare, Dom Francisco Kunihiko Yoshimoto having received the delegation from Delegated Father Immediate of Imari Dom Roberto de la Iglesia accompanied by Mother Veronique Mariko Shibata, conducted the Regular Visitation at Imari from of October 1-7, 2021. In conclusion, the resignation of Mother Raphaela Youko Kuboki was accepted and having consulted the community, Sister Alberica Ueno was appointed superior ad nutum.

Mother Alberica was born in Kumamoto (Japan) in 1950, entered Imari in 1978 and made her solemn profession in 1986. At the time of her appointment, Mother Alberica was Prioress of the Community.
