On January 18, 2022, the Community of San Isidro (Diocese of Palencia, Spain) elected as abbot for a for a six-year term, Dom Juan José Domingo Falomir.

Dom Juan José was born in 1966 in Burriana (Spain). He entered San Isidro in 1987, made his solemn profession in 1993 and was ordained a priest in 2001. He was elected a member of the Law Commission at the General Chapter in 2017 and at the time of the election, he was Councillor of the Abbot General.
