On 26 March 2022, Dom Gerard D’Souza, Abbot of Genesee (USA) and Father Immediate of Novo Mundo, appointed Father Paulo Santos Da Fonseca as Superior ad nutum of Novo Mundo (Diocese of São José dos Pinhais, Brazil).

Dom Paulo was born in 1981 in Paraná (Brazil). He entered Novo Mundo in 2007, made his solemn profession in 2013 and was ordained a deacon in 2022. At the time of his appointment, he was Prior of the Community of Novo Mundo.
