La Oliva

March 31, 2022: Father Félix García Fernández was born in 1931 in Gradefes (Spain). He entered La Oliva in 1943, made his solemn profession in 1952 and was ordained a priest in 1954. At the time of his death, he was chaplain of the Monastery of San Salvador de Cañas (CCSB) where he provided this service for 44 years. Father was 90 years old, had been in monastic vows for 73 years and 68 years a priest when the Lord called him.
