Mother Maria Francesca Righi, abbess of Valserena, as Pontifical Commissary of the community of Soke (Huambo) in the archdiocese of Huambo (Angola), decreed the temporary closure of the community of Soke on 27 June 2022. During this period of temporary closure, the sisters of the community will go to Valserena for a time of renewal of their monastic formation. During this period, a monastic presence will be guaranteed on the Soke property. We ask for your prayers for the community of Soke.
