Bon Conseil / Bonneval

October 31, 2022: Sister Canisia Freier was born in 1926 in Melperts (Germany). She entered the Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis in USA in 1948, joined the Bon Conseil in St. Romuald, Quebec in 1968 amd made her solemn profession in 1974. After the suppression of the community in 2022, her stability was transferred to Bonneval, the founding house. She died at the Monastery of Saint-Augustin in Quebéc (Canada). Sister was 96 years old and had been in monastic vows for 51 years when the Lord called her.
