Kasanza

December 04, 2022: Mgr. Marie-Edouard Mununu Kasiala was born in 1936 in Bukanga-Pindi (Dem. Rep. of Congo). He entered Kasanza in 1960, made his solemn profession in 1965 and was ordained a priest in 1967. He was Superior from 1972 to 1984, then Titular Prior from 1984 to 1985.
In 1984 he was elected Auxiliary Bishop of Kikwit and in 1986, Titular Bishop of the Diocese of Kikwit. His resignation was accepted when he turned 80 in 2016. Monsignor Mununu was 86 years old, had been in monastic vows for 60 years, 55 years a priest and 38 years of episcopal ordination when the Lord called him.
