Val d’Igny / Chambarand

September 16, 2023: Sister Marie France De Bergh was born in 1942 in Valenciennes (France). She entered the Abbey of N.-D. de Chambarand in 1983 and made her solemn profession in 1993. After the suppression of the community, she changed stability to the abbey of N.-D. du Val d’Igny in 2021. Sister was 81 years old and had been in monastic vows for 38 years when the Lord called her.
