Maromby

Dom Jean-Chrysostome Randriamahazosoa, completed his six-year term as Prior of Maromby (Archdiocese of Fianarantsoa, Madagascar).

On January 17, 2024, Dom Bernard-Marie van Caloen, abbot of Notre-Dame des Mont des Cats and Father Immediate of Maromby, appointed Dom Edmond Rakotovao as Superior ad nutum of Maromby.

Dom Edmond was born in 1950 in Ambohimahasoa (Madagascar). He entered Maromby in 1970, made his solemn profession in 1977 and was ordained a priest in 1997. He had been superior ad nutum of the community from 1996 to 1998.
