Jarabacoa

On 21 January 2024, the community of Santa Maria del Evangelio, Jarabacoa (Diocese of La Vega, Dominican Republic) elected Father Jhonny Almonte Tineo as Titular Prior of the Community.

Dom Jhonny was born in 1965 in La Vega (Dominican Rep.). He entered Jarabacoa in 1987, made his solemn profession in 1999 and was ordained a priest in 2022. At the time of his election, he was the cellerar of the community.
