Holy Trinity / Gethsemani

August 09, 2024: Father Casimir Bernas was born in 1930 in Chicago (USA). He entered Holy Trinity in 1949, made his solemn profession in 1955 and was ordained a priest in 1958. In 2017, after the Monastery of Holy Trinity closed, he changed stability to Gethsemani. Father was 94 years old, had been in monastic vows for 72 years and 66 years a priest when the Lord called him.
