October 02, 2024: Sister Joan Garrity was born in 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri (USA). She entered Wrentham in 1961 and was one of the foundresses of Mississippi Abbey in 1964. She made her solemn profession in 1970. Sister was 84 years old and had been in monastic vows for 60 years when the Lord called her.
