Ajimu

December 20, 2024: Sister Maria Emilia Fumiko Yamamoto was born in 1933 in Nagasaki (Japan). She entered Nishinomiya in 1949 and made her solemn profession in 1955. She had been one of the foundresses of Miyako in 1982, and went to Ajimu with the community in 2001. Sister was 91 years old and had been in monastic vows for 72 years when the Lord called her.
