Aiguebelle

On 1 November 2024, Mother Katharina Michiels, abbess of Nazareth, to whom is currently delegated the authority of Father Immediate of the community of Aiguebelle (diocese of Valence, France), appointed Father Alexis Vergon, monk of Sept-Fons, as superior ad nutum of Aiguebelle, with effect from 5 January 2025.

Dom Alexis was born in 1968 in Glendale, CA (USA). He entered Sept-Fons in 1991, made his solemn profession in 1999 and was ordained a priest in 2002. At the time of his appointment, he was cellarer at Sept-Fons.

By this appointment, the service of Dom Georges Delomier, superior ad nutum of Aiguebelle since 2018, comes to an end.
