Gethsemani

July 25, 2025: FatherJames Conner was born in 1932 in Tulsa, Oklahoma (USA). He entered Gethsemani in 1949, made his solemn profession in 1954 and was ordained a priest in 1957. He was superior ad nutum of Ava Abbey in 1994, then as abbot from 1995 to 1999, and returned to Gethsemani in 2000. Father was 92 years old, had been in monastic vows for 73 years and 68 years a priest when the Lord called him.
