Tarrawarra / Kopua

November 18, 2025 Dom Brian Keogh was born in 1941 in Mackay, Queensland, Australia. He entered Tarrawarra Abbey in 1980, made solemn profession in 1985 and was ordained priest in 1998. He was elected Abbot of Southern Star (Kopua) Abbey in New Zealand in 1998. He resigned as Abbot and resumed stability at Tarrawarra in 2015. Dom Brian was 84 years old, had been in monastic vows for 43 years old and 27 years as priest when the Lord called him.
