Bethlehem

December 01, 2025: Father Finnian Owens, born in 1928 in Carrickfergus, Ireland. He entered Mount Melleray Monastery in 1946 and made his first profession there in 1948. He later transferred to Bethlehem Abbey, where he made his solemn profession in 1951 and was ordained a priest in 1953. Father was 97 years old, had 77 years of monastic profession, and had been a priest for 72 years.
