Santa Rita

January 1, 2026, Sister Clare Renquin was born in 1927 in Rhode Island (United States). She entered Mt. St. Mary’s Abbey in 1950 and made profession 1952 and solemn vows in 1957. In 1972, she was sent on the foundation of Santa Rita Abbey where she lived for 54 years serving in many capacities, especially bookkeeper. Sister was 98 years old and had 73 years of monastic profession when the Lord called her.
