Imari

January 8, 2026, Sister Maria Benedicta Onizuka Misao was born in 1929 in Kagoshima Prefecture (Japan). She entered Shindenbaru Abbey in 1960 and went with the community to Imari in 1965 where she made her solemn vows in 1968. Sister was 96 years old and had 60 years of monastic profession when the Lord called her.
