Origins

Founded in the 12th century. Cistercian monks lived there until 1835. Re-established by O.L. of Neiges in 1929. Raised to the rank of priory in 1948 and to the rank of abbey in 1977.

History

The monastery was built in the 12th century and inhabited by Cistercian monks until the year of “Exclaustration” (1835). The monastery was abandoned.
1929: The monastery was re-occupied by a foundation from Neiges. The date of the consecration of the church is unknown.
