Ajimu

August 18, 2018: Sister Maria Bernadetta Hirata Mihoko was born in 1922 in Tokyo (Japan). She entered Nishinomiya in 1952 and made her solemn profession in 1957. She had been one of the foundresses of Miyako in 1981 and participated in the transfer of the Community to Ajimu in 2001. Sister was 95 years old and had been in monastic vows for 65 years when the Lord called her.
