A 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck the northern Japanese Island of Hokkaido at about 3 a.m. local time on Thursday 6 September.
The monasteries of Tenshien and Phare, located in this region, violently felt the shock but did not suffer any material damage. There was a power outrage that lasted several days depending on the location.

Thank you for praying for people of Island of Hokkaido
