November 06, 2019: Brother Meinrad Smith was born in 1933 in Newport (USA). He entered Gethsemani in 1952 and made his solemn profession in 1958. He transferred his stability to Spencer in 2000. Brother was 86 years old and had been in monastic vows for 64 years when the Lord called him.
