Mt. Melleray

January 20, 2020: Father Uinseann Ó Maidín was born in 1932 in Limerick (Ireland). He entered Mt. Melleray in 1949, made his solemn profession in 1954 and was ordained a priest in 1957. He was English language Secretary at the Generalate from 1981 to 1986. Father Uinseann was 87 years old, had been in monastic vows for 69 years and 63 years a priest when the Lord called him.
