Cîteaux
January 27, 2020 6:52 amJanuary 26, 2020: Father Etienne – André Goutagny was born in 1925 in St Médard en Forez (France). He entered Cîteaux in 1946, made his solemn profession in 1951 and was ordained a priest in 1952. After the closure of the monastery of Dombes, he made the choice to go to Cîteaux and made his stability there. Father was 94 years old, had been in monastic vows for 71 years and 68 years a priest when the Lord called him.
