Oseira

October 11, 2021: Father Plácido González Cacheiro was born in 1924 in Cartelle, Ourense (España). He entered Oseira in 1936, made his solemn profession in 1946 and was ordained a priest in 1948. He served as Titular Prior of Oseira from 1975 to 1977 then, as Abbot from 1977 to 2000. Father was 97 years old, had been in monastic vows for 79 years and 73 years a priest when the Lord called him.
