April 08, 2022: Father James O’Connor was born in 1924 in Chicago, Illinois (USA). He entered New Melleray in 1949, made his solemn profession in 1954 and was ordained a priest in 1957. Father was 97 years old, had been in monastic vows for 71 years and 64 years a priest when the Lord called him.
