Val d’Igny

May 04, 2022: Sister Françoise Viard was born in 1919 in Epinal (France). She entered the Abbey of Ubexy in 1944 and made her solemn profession in 1949. After the N.-D. of Ubexy closed in 2012, she incorporated the Val d’Igny community and stayed at the Saint-Jean retirement home in Portieux. Sister was 102 years old and had been in monastic vows for 75 years when the Lord called her.
