News about Sept-Fons

Following the abbatial election of 6 August 2022, after listening to all the electors by Dom Jean-Charles Nault osb, Abbot of Saint-Wandrille and Apostolic Assistant of the community of Sept-Fons, the Dicastery for Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life – after having met with the elected one – judged that the conditions were not met to confirm the result of the election and asked that a certain number of measures be taken before considering what it considers to be the most suitable for the government of the community.

In the meantime, Father Prior continues to manage the day-to-day business.
