Port du Salut

April 03, 2023: Father Louis-Marie Privé was born in 1936 in La Rochelle (France). After few years with the Montfortains, he entered the abbey of Melleray in 1962, made solemn profession in 1967 and was ordained a priest in 1968. In 2018, he changed his stability to the abbey of N.-D. du Port du Salut. Father was 86 years old, had been in monastic vows for 58 years and 54 years a priest when the Lord called him.
