August 24, 2023 10:10 amAugust 24, 2023: Mother María Borrell Ventosa was born in 1933 in Villanueva y Geltrú (Spain). She was a religious of the Congregation of the Missionaries of Mary Immaculate before entering Vico in 1976 where she made her solemn profession in 1981. She was abbess of the community from 1987 to 2005. Mother María was 89 years old and had been in monastic vows for 46 years when the Lord called her.
