February 03, 2024: Mother Gabriele Visser was born in 1928 in Rotterdam (Netherlands). She entered Arnhem in 1948 and made her solemn profession in 1953. She participated in the foundation of Maria Frieden in 1954 and was Abbess of the community from 1993 to 2003. Sister was 95 years old and had been in monastic vows for 74 years when the Lord called her.
