Origins

After having been a pre-foundation of Bamenda for a long time, Nsugbe was recognized as a foundation, with a novitiate, on 1 September 2000 by the Abbot General and his Council. The community was approved as a simple priory by the General Chapter of 2005, and was erected as a simple priory on 10 January 2006.
